Hiking map Andermatt

The Andermatt hiking map from Swisstopo at a scale of 1:33,333 covers the Andermatt Ursern-Gotthard-Oberalp-Lago Ritom region and is waterproof. Andermatt lies at 1436 metres above sea level in the picturesque Ursern Valley. Goethe described the area in 1779 as one of his favourite and most interesting regions. The major rivers Rhine, Rhone, Reuss and Ticino have their source here and the roads of the three important Alpine passes Gotthard, Furka and Oberalp cross each other. The Gotthard region, also known as the moated castle of Europe, impresses with over 40 clear mountain lakes around the Urseren Valley.
