Elegant gliding or sporty action - a few hours on the Andermatt ice rink are always a cool change from winter fun on the piste. This winter, the ice rink in Andermatt once again invites you to practise your pirouettes, compete in curling or take part in sweat-inducing hockey matches. Ice skates and other equipment can be hired on site. And there are fun standing aids for the little ones so that no-one falls on their nose.
Opening hours
Monday, Thursday to Sunday 2.30 pm to 7 pm
Wednesday 1.30 pm to 6 pm
Tuesdays Closed
Ice skating for people in wheelchairs
People in wheelchairs no longer have to stand next to the ice rink in Andermatt as spectators and watch the others, but can actively participate in this special pleasure thanks to the ice glider from the Cerebral Foundation.
The ice glider, specially developed for wheelchair users, enables them to get onto the ice safely and comfortably. The platform on runners can be accessed via a small, attachable ramp and is suitable for almost all standard wheelchair models.

Catering
Ice skating makes you thirsty: the Sportsbar Andermatt is right next to the ice rink, where you can warm up and fortify yourself for the next round with drinks and snacks. In addition to the bar and restaurant, billiards, darts, a table football table and air hockey are now also available.
