You can reach our destination from all directions: from the south, through the Gotthard
Tunnel, from the north, through the Schöllenen Gorge, from the west and east, via scenic mountain routes. And it’s not far from anywhere.
Reaching Andermatt
Andermatt lies in the heart of Switzerland, and it can be reached quickly and easily by train,
coach or car. The Matterhorn Gotthard Railway runs between Andermatt, Sedrun and Disentis.
Trains from Basel, Lucerne, Zurich or Zug or from Locarno stop every hour in Göschenen. There you have a direct connection to the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, which takes you to Andermatt within 10 minutes. You can find the relevant timetables on the SBB website. Andermatt station is centrally located, and in just a few minutes you can reach the Gütsch-Express gondola, the village centre and Andermatt Reuss.
In winter, coaches from Twerenbold and Auto AG Uri drive to Andermatt from central Switzerland, north-western Switzerland, Zurich and the surrounding region and bring you comfortably to the ski area and back home again.
In Andermatt, local buses take you comfortably and free of charge to your hotel or other important points in the region.
From Zurich or Lugano, the journey via the A2 north-south motorway takes less than 90 minutes to Göschenen. From there you can reach Andermatt within 10 minutes via the Schöllenen Gorge.

Disentis and Sedrun lie in the centre of the Alpine region, and both destinations can be easily reached by train, coach or car. The Matterhorn Gotthard Railway runs between Andermatt, Sedrun and Disentis.
From Zurich, fast trains run to Chur. From there, the Rähtische Railway takes you on a spectacular ride through the Rhine Gorge to Disentis, where the connecting train to Sedrun is waiting.
From Lucerne, you take the Gotthard route to Göschenen. There you change to the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, which takes you through the Schöllenen Gorge via Andermatt and the 2,044-metre-high Oberalp Pass to Disentis/Sedrun.
In Disentis/Sedrun, local buses take you comfortably and free of charge to your hotel or other important points in the region.
With the long-distance buses, you can travel directly to Chur several times a day from Munich, Lindau, Bregenz, Vaduz or Milan at low prices without changing trains. There you change to the Rhaetian Railway and reach Disentis after about an hour, where the connecting train to Sedrun is waiting.
The A13 motorway runs on the Munich-Milan axis as an international transalpine route (San Bernardino) right through Graubünden. Leave the motorway at exit 18 in the direction of Disentis/Mustér and follow the main road H19 for about 50 kilometres to Disentis, Sedrun.
From Milan you can reach Disentis/Sedrun via Lugano. In summer, you can reach the region via the Gotthard, the Oberalp Pass, the Lukmanier Pass or the A13 via San Bernardino and Chur.
Parking: There is paid parking at Sedrun railway station. Other parking facilities are available at the valley stations of the mountain railways.

Mybuxi is an innovative combination of bus and taxi. The service offers maximum flexibility - independent of your own vehicle and at affordable prices. You order the mybuxi vehicles via the mybuxi app. You enter the pick-up time, pick-up and destination and select the number of passengers. On the way, other passengers who have booked a trip in the same direction can join them. This guarantees so-called pooling and ensures that the vehicles are optimally utilised. Mybuxi uses electric cars powered by green electricity. The vehicles can be booked daily from 6 am to 1 am in Andermatt and the surrounding area.
