Guided tour ‘Transport history and mobility’
Description
The Gotthard has played a decisive role in the development of the Ursern Valley for centuries. As the most important link from north to south, it has brought about numerous changes. How have transport and mobility changed over the years? What impact did the construction of the Gotthard railway and road tunnel have on tourism and the local population? These and other questions will be answered during the tour.
The tour can be flexibly and easily adapted to the wishes and ideas of the guests. It is also possible to make the tour shorter or longer or to combine it with an aperitif or lunch.
Please note that the tour depends on the availability of the guides. Guides will be requested directly after your booking. If no guide is available, we will contact you to discuss a possible rebooking. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start of the tour are subject to a processing fee of CHF 40.00 per tour. Cancellations within 48 hours before the start of the tour will be charged the full booking price.
