Description
The Sustenblick holiday home has just been renovated and is situated above the village of Meien. Access by car is possible (CHF 7.- for a day permit) or there is a free car park about 10 minutes' walk away. Outside you will find a nice, quiet seating area and a balcony with a small bistro table. The house has no landline, but offers good reception for mobile phones. Pets are welcome on request. A new barbecue area with a large fire bowl is available for sociable moments. Afterwards you can enjoy a relaxing bath in the hot tub - this can also be booked on request.
The Meiental offers a variety of options for those seeking peace and quiet as well as for hikers, mountain and nature lovers - and is also a paradise for ski tours. The canton of Bern can be reached quickly via the Susten Pass and the Ursern Valley is well connected via the A2 motorway. Shopping facilities are available in Wassen, approx. 10 minutes away.
Equipment in detail
The well-equipped kitchen has a fridge and freezer, dishwasher, oven, gas grill, ceramic hob, extractor fan, TV and a Swedish stove. Various extras such as fondue and raclette crockery, toaster and coffee machine are also available. Sleeping facilities are available for 8 people: One room in the basement with wardrobe and chest of drawers, one room on the upper floor with pull-out bed and a dormitory. The bathroom is equipped with a spacious shower cubicle, WC, washbasin and hairdryer. A cosy Arvenstube offers plenty of space for relaxation and guarantees a great view.
