An Andermatt that attracts him time and again despite his many trips abroad. He has put down roots here. He feels at home here. And this is also where he first stood on a snowboard around 30 years ago. The first ever in this region. Shortly afterwards, he founded the first snowboard school in Andermatt and was also one of the co-founders of the Swiss Snowboard Association. A true pioneer. Meeting Bänz Simmen and going on a snowshoe tour with him through the winter landscape between the Furka, Gotthard and Oberalp passes is a powerful moment.
