Maighelshütte SAC
Description
The well-equipped SAC hut lies at the foot of Piz Cavradi, with views of Lai Urlaun, Lai Carin and Glatscher da Maighels. Thanks to the traffic-free access road, all sports and nature enthusiasts meet here. In addition to hikers, bikers, joggers and Nordic walkers, you will also meet sporty parents with pushchairs. You can indulge in delicious food here, outside on the terrace when the sun is shining or in the cosy lounge when it's raining. There is also a cappuccino with fresh fruit cake, a draught beer or a fine drop of wine from the cellar. Everything tastes twice as good at this altitude. Perhaps the young hut wardens will have time for a chat - they don't just speak Rhaeto-Romanic here.
The hut is also a popular destination for ski tourers in winter.
