Matterhorn Gotthard Railway
Description
The Matterhorn Gotthard Railway (MGB) crosses 144 kilometres of some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Swiss Alps. It connects Zermatt with Disentis and Andermatt with Göschenen and offers a unique experience. At the same time, it serves as an ideal feeder line for summer and winter activities, including the car loading point at the Furka Pass.
In winter, the MGB is an important link in the Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis ski area and runs every hour. Guests can reach the mountain railways directly at the following stations:
Andermatt railway station: Gütsch-Express valley station
Nätschen station: Gütsch-Express middle station
Oberalp Pass station: Schneehüenerstock-Express / Oberalp-Flyer valley station
Dieni station: Milez-Flyer valley station
Sedrun railway station: access to the Disentis ski area
Disentis railway station: Access to the Disentis ski area
