• Valid for 2-7 days

• Within the 7 days, the validity depends on the length of the guest's stay in the holiday region.

• Any number of Guest Cards, Guest Cards plus Mountain & Train can be purchased consecutively during the entire length of stay. Example: Length of stay of 3 weeks = possibility to buy 3 «Mountain & Train» tickets

• The price is a unit price for 2 to 7 days and independent of the selected validity period within the 7 days. This means that an adult guest pays CHF 20, regardless of whether they buy the Guest Card plus Mountain & Train for 3, 5 or 7 days. The price is not calculated pro rata. If the guest only needs the «Mountain & Train» ticket for 4 days, for example, no refund or pro rata charging is possible.

• Valid for the 2024 summer season from 1 May - 31 October 2024

• All overnight guests in Holiday Region Andermatt or Disentis Sedrun who spend at least one night in taxable accommodation (according to the Tourism Act).

• It is not relevant whether the guests stay overnight in the accommodation free of charge or for a fee.

• Single travellers, families, second residents and permanent tenants with a holiday apartment rental contract of at least 1 year and including persons living in the same household.

Guest card plus Summer Pass

• Second residents and permanent tenants with a holiday apartment rental contract of at least 1 year and including persons living in the same household

• Permanent tenants receive the Guest Card plus Summer Pass on presentation of the tenancy agreement; in addition, either the permanent tenant and/or the landlord must pay guest taxes to the respective municipality.

The cards can be obtained from the holiday region where the guest tax is paid.

No, seasonal employees are not entitled to a Guest Card. Seasonal employees are employed in the region and therefore do not count as overnight holiday guests, second residents or permanent tenants of a holiday flat.

Yes, all tickets are personal and non-transferable. A separate Guest Card must be issued for each person aged 6 and over. When using the «Mountain & Train» ticket or the summer season ticket on the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, it is recommended that you carry official identification with you.

The group rate of CHF 16 applies to adults (aged 12 and over) for groups of 10 or more, and the normal rate of CHF 10 for children. Please contact your accommodation or the tourist information centre to obtain the group rate.

If all mountain railways are out of service for at least one week and no MGBahn train or equivalent replacement is running at the same time, Andermatt-Urserntal Tourism and Sedrun Disentis Tourism will rely on the GTC of the mountain railways and the MGBahn. If the operator decides that a refund is warranted, the tickets for the specified period will also be refunded. However, all mountain railways and the MGBahn must be cancelled simultaneously for the entire period of validity of the ticket in order for a refund to be possible. If a means of transport or an equivalent replacement is in operation, the tickets will not be refunded.

No, Guest Cards can only be purchased online. However, it is possible to print out the guest card in the guest card module.

As the Guest Cards are issued digitally, Guest Cards cannot be lost. Guest cards and booked services can be called up in the user profile at any time.

In order to benefit from the services of the Guest Card, it is essential to present the Guest Card via smartphone or printout. The accommodation or tourist information centre can help with printing out the Guest Card via the respective user account.

If the Guest Card has not yet been activated, the accommodation or tourist information centre can still correct the data. If the Guest Card has already been activated, a cancellation/reissue of the Guest Card must be arranged via the accommodation or Tourist Information.
