Description
The hike starts at the Hotel Tiefenbach. From here, the path climbs up to the Tätsch. You will soon have reached the highest point on the Gspenderboden. The wide hiking trail gradually narrows, but remains easy to walk on. At Lochbergegg, above Realp, you can see the protection forest that protects the village against avalanches. Hikers will pass through Lipferstein and reach a wonderful rest area at the small Blauseeli lake which also marks the approximate halfway point of this hike. The tour then the continues straight on towards Bäz for about three kilometres. The view towards the Furka, Gotthard and Oberalp Passes is stunning.
The walk down begins through the municipality of Hospental. A small section leads along a narrow path until Moos is reached. Here, a wide and well-maintained hiking trail leads along the golf course towards Andermatt.
