Description
We hike through fragrant fir forest from the pass road in the direction of Planatsch and a little later through the Uaul da Roses. But you won't find any roses here, because "rosa" is a pre-Roman word for glacier, torrent, or stream channel. In easy hairpin bends it goes steadily uphill, over small bridges and footbridges we pass babbling brooks, otherwise a carpet of pine needles dampens our steps. In Milez, one of the most beautiful vantage points in the region, we overlook the entire valley. In winter it is very busy here, but in summer we enjoy the peace and quiet and are not disturbed by the cow bells.
The landlady of the Tegia las Palas is happy to serve us a cool drink, but if you want to be on the road early in the morning, you can also sign up for breakfast. What could be better!
