Description

The ascent to the "Stavel sut il Tgom" begins in Surrein (Sedrun) and we continue hiking on the wide summit to the alpine hut "Stavel Sisum". On the east side of the Piz Nual and below the Fil d'Alpetta, a hiking trail now leads into the Val Nalps. The Nalps reservoir is already glittering in the distance. The path is a bit airy in places and there are also places that are secured with a rope. Soon, however, the rocky sections are behind us and we relax over alpine pastures and meadows down to the lake. We reach the other side of the valley via the top of the wall.

After a bend on the asphalt road, we reach the turnoff to Cuolm Cavorgia. The entrance is a bit hidden, but immediately afterwards we come across the access road to the Alp Cuolm Nalps. The mountain path that follows, which leads to Cuolm Cavorgia, can be described as a fine dessert. We hike over Puoza Gronda and Plaun Verd with a view of the snow-covered Oberalpstock and the Tödi between alpine flowers and heather. On the way down we pass the Cuolm Cavorgia alpine hut and a little further down the Mises Grond. From Cavorgia we hike the last stretch back to the starting point along the access road.
